Welcome to the unofficial osu!community 2012 tournament!
Here is how this tournament works:

Explanation
The osu!community tournament is simple; the community picks ranked maps for the tournament. (They must be on their hardest difficulty. Also, no approved maps please.)
Once the nominees are picked, there is a vote for which maps are added into the tournament. 15 maps will be added.
Then comes sign-ups. All you have to do for a chance at the tournament is post a reply saying you're entering. If there are more than 7 entrants, 7 will be picked at random to participate.
The tournament date will be decided once everything is all set.

3rd - 1st place prizes will be custom profile badges to put on your userpage. (You can also request a profile pic if you aren't a supporter.)

STEP 1.
Let's get some beatmap sugggestions. You can suggest any beatmap as long as it's ranked. Please note that the map will be played at its hardest difficulty; no maps with only easy difficulties, please!

EDIT: No approved maps. "Holy Shit! It's Airman!!" can wait for another time.

The point of having 20 votes was to allow people to vote for as many separate beatmaps as they want.
You can vote once for Shinto Shrine, but that's it.

It isnt much of a community thing if only one person chose the maps in the pool and only 5 of those wont be included.

How about thinking of an actual concept and explaining some stuff in OP?

I mean, it won't be much of a tournament if you just choose 7 random guys and let them play a single multi match.
