Can you put a video file into another mapper's beatmap ?

yeah i know it kinna sounded stupid but i really want to put a video on a beatmap that i like, kinna like how some people change the beatmap bg from another mapper to grey for gameplay or just a picture that they like, i wanted to do that but in video file but seriously don't know how to use the editor so anybody can help me that would be great help thx.

1. open map in editor
2. drag video into editor
3. adjust video offset in Design tab as needed

note that this will probably make the map unranked since the .osu is modified

The weird thing is that the .osb file have the command that can run the video properly just like .osu file, but don't make the map unranked (since obviously, this is the .osb file, not .osu file). But for your lack of knowledge in mapping scene (Based on how you have no submitted map), I suggest NOT doing anything that involves modifying right in the game file.

oh video through osb sounds pretty gaming

honestly i dont see the problem since this doesn't actually have anything to do with mapping, it's just something that can be accomplished through the editor
