Other game modes has individual score formulas that are primarily based on # of objects in the map. Why not make this mode do the same?
Seeing that currently every map gives exactly 1 mil max score, most people would just play the easiest map in the list to get the highest score possible.
To solve this problem, is it okay if we use the max score from osu! standard for each map instead? This would make the difficulty spread having much more sense than just 1 mil in each map. Imagine if a few had played Insane (7k) and managed to get a score of about 950,000 while many others played Easy (4k) to get scores even closer to 1 mil. Obviously that wouldn't be fair, wouldn't it? So if we multiply 95% (from 950,000) with 5 mil (assuming this is the max score in Insane in standard), it would obviously result in a way higher score than about 1 mil (max score in Easy in standard).
Note: This is just a suggestion. If peppy & woc has already agreed on another scoring system then that's fine.
Thoughts, anyone?
