Default skin is not that bad :O I've used it for 5 years. Although default skin performs poorly to many custom skins if your room has bad/screen lighting due to lower contrast.
Skin does not matter as long as catcher is yuzu and spin fruit is banana

Personally my favorite are cloud9, emiru,(pls dont use this skin outside of ctb) exoitc emerald. and woodpamp's skin

i'm using default skin too. but with slightly different colors. http://bit.ly/2AmkDgD . yes, blue pears or yellow grapes aren't as realistic as the default colors, but imho it's easier on the eye than the flashy default colors
