combobreak.mp3 is the only miss sound. If you miss a note with less then 20 combo, no sound is played (and you can't make a sound play for that either)
Just in case this is your problem, I was also trying to change combobreak.mp3 recently, but my actual problem was this:
If you're trying to change the sound used for a combobreak in the skin, you need to select "Use skin's sound samples" or it won't change.
