So whenever we play a map we've already played in the past, we try to improve our score. And we can see our local scores to the left of our screen, just sitting there with it's finished results. But, I think it would be a lot more fun if we could go into the settings and enable a "Local Score Racing" feature. Now, what do I mean by "Local Score Racing"? I am sure you've played multi before, and if so you know how the scores are just updating live, with the other players' scores in that game, instead showing your scores. Now, what if we put that feature into our local scores while playing solo? It would be like playing multi with your past self! And it updates just like multi, sorting them by highest score at that point in the map. All you need is to have the local replay, and you can see whether or not you do better at 1:24:436 in your current play than your previous saved plays! This will also include any saved replays you've either downloaded, or saved after spectating/watching a online replay.
I hope I described this good enough. Pretty much, I would love to see this become a feature in osu! And of course toggle-able, for people who doesn't want it.
