"Bronze Match" sounds weird as well.
Also, is it just me, or this pool is kinda streamy?
Yep, it's the right one.Gon wrote:

Why don't you appear instead of just showing up and doing whatever you want, Loctav? Explanations would be good.
It's only weeaboo if you put too much into it like this desuMr Color wrote:

Yes, I have a problem with sounding like a weeaboo.

there is a time where you will go to valhalla and eat with your ancestors at the big table, but this is not the time!kriers wrote:
it seems we went out in style and no team can show off such a close defeat in the group stages with 3 teams winning 2/3 matches.Instead this happened to China ww
Good luck to all participants. We vikings will overlook the rest from Valhalla!

I wonder if this will cause overlap problems in matchesLoctav wrote:
fartownik just reminded me. Keep in mind, that Round of 16 uses Best-of-9 ruleset. This means, that you actually have to win 5 maps to win your match.
Anyways, it's good to have this rule to make players actually appear around time for the match~Makar wrote:
Nobody has been following that rule though

A1 vs H2, A2 vs H1, B1 vs G2, B2 vs G1 and so on. Seeding such small amount of teams doesn't make much sense since we'd have to kill like half of the possibilities in matches (ex. teams facing themselves in the groupstage, teams seeded can't play against themselves etc.). This was simple and still random because of the first drawings. Also it's used in a lot of competitions.Eldrythan wrote:
Hey everyone,
First post here, whoo! Quick question: how were the pairings for the RO16 decided? I find it odd that the two highest ranking teams from the group stage (Korea/Germany) will most likely meet in the RO8 already. I would have expected them to be seeded on opposite sides of the bracket.
