How do I convert someone else's beatmap as my own?

I edited and made a new difficulty of someone else's beatmap because I didn't want to redo all of the timing points since the song changes BPM a lot. I'm now trying to submit only my map and not the other mapper's but it says I can't because it's not my map. How do I convert this beatmap into my own so I can submit it? Or if I can't do that, maybe I can just move the notes so I don't have to redo them all in a new map?

I see you want to just copy the timing so Mapping Tools by OliBomby would help (it includes all what you need, e.g. hs/timing copier): https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/940368
