"Watched by Others", as in other people watching your replays.

As long as it's watched, it should count.

actually, no it doesn't. the replay has to be either accessed in-game from an online scoreboard, or downloaded from the website by clicking the '...' (it's vertical) next to the score on your profile or clicking the rank number on the beatmap page
