I'm a relatively new mapper, with no ranked maps (hell, even a finished one that I haven't deemed so bad I had to remap it), but I want some mods for my maps while they are WIP for the following reasons:
a. because I much prefer making sure everything is alright with one section before moving onto the next than completing a full but crappy map in two hours, and
b. I'm just slow as hell when mapping new sections and so I just repeatedly troubleshoot everything while I think of new ideas
But obviously unfinished maps are much less likely to get mods. Thus, I want to be doing M4Ms and start a queue, but since I'm new I'm not sure if it's really acceptable. If I remember correctly I don't believe there is a requirement in the rules, but is it acceptable within the community for an unranked and relatively new mapper to make a(n) M4M queue? I have modding experience but only for other new mappers.
