---------------
I don't need the light, I just need electricity. Without electricity, I can't use my computer and without a working computer, I can't map anything at all.
Also, I can't map without a working screen so the only light I need is the computer screen.
Darkside is one of my favourite nightcore songs and I want to map this song. I started this mapset on February 2019.
This is my first uploaded nightcore map. Also, I mapped a single nightcore map before but I didn't upload it so I will upload it later.

Note: some difficulties use 1/4 snapping rather than 1/6 snapping to prevent those difficulties from being harder than it should be.
And also, some people may prefer the ones that are primarily mapped on 1/4 snapping than the ones mapped on 1/6 snapping (and vise versa).
And if this is not allowed, I will reupload the affected difficulties (that are primarily mapped on 1/4 snapping) on a seperate mapset for loved.
Note2: this mapset is WIP (only Easy, Normal, Advanced, Hard, SV1.2 Hyper, Light Insane, Less Insane, SV1.2 Insane, Insane, Another, Jumpy Another, SV1.1 Another, Expert, Welcome to the darkside, We don't need the light, let's fall to the darkside/NepFreak.exe are complete at this time)
Note3: test (and test2) difficulties are experimental
Note4: the difficulty list below here are difficulties that I plan to map due to some difficulties in this list being incomplete or not started (but I may map at least a single difficulty that is not in this list)
Note5: some difficulties not on this list will not be labeled a difficulty level until some other difficulties on this difficulty list below are complete unless I can come up with a better difficulty name for a particular difficulty while the mapset is WIP
Note6: storyboard is currently WIP (added on Jul. 8, 2021), will do some work on diff-specific SB later due to some difficulties having different BGs than others.

Advanced: slightly easier Hard with slightly lower SV and spacing and less 1/4 rhythm
Hard: Hard-level difficulty that uses 1/4 snapping so it's slightly easier
SV1.2 Hyper: Hard-level difficulty that uses 1/6 snapping and there is 2x SV at kiai time (first half mapped with 2010 editor, the rest mapped using current editor)
Light Insane: slightly easier Insane with 1/4 snapping (and the occasional introduction of 1/4 jumps)
Less Insane: easier Insane with 1/6 snapping
SV1.2 Insane: easier jumpy map with 1/4 snapping but uses anti-jumps to highlight certain sounds (not drum sound) except at sections where the intensity is too low to be jumpy. Like SV1.2 Hyper, there are no SV changes except at kiai time and shortly before second chorus section.
Insane: less jumpy map with 1/4 snapping
Another: 1/4 jumps so it's a slightly easier jump map
Jumpy Another: there are no sliders and the jumps are on 1/6 snapping (started mapping this in 2019 and most of this difficulty is mapped in 2021-2022 assuming that I completed it this year and finally finished in 2023. Break times are planned back in 2019; ignore the extra long breaks because this diff is currently incomplete.)
SV1.1 Another: jump map with old-style SV changes and the jumps are on 1/6 snapping (or something more proper) (mapped entirely using 2010 editor in 2023) (I'll determine the difficulty level later, this blank difficulty will be deleted later and then readded as SV1.1 which will be renamed after it's finished I'll rename it later if I have to after it's done)
Expert: it's mapped in the more old-style way with 1/6 snapping
Hybrid Light+Dark (L+R) side (Expert) (incomplete): this difficulty is mapped on one side only and then switches for the next group of notes and so on (and sometimes the y-axis [which is the center] is used)
Welcome to the darkside/PF-style: mixture of 1/4 and 1/6 jumps (so it's somewhat tricky); notes on 1/6 rhythm have green combo colour (so it's less confusing; make sure you have beatmap combo colours enabled when playing this difficulty)
We don't need the light, let's fall to the darkside/NepFreak.exe: tricky map, primarily mapped on 1/6 rhythm when the song calls for it (started mapping this in 2023, finished in 2023)

(also, why would osu! stop responding for like 15 seconds when I update the mapset? it is because the mapset has so many difficulties and the SR changes in osu!stable cause the difficulty calc to take much longer which with this combination caused this.)
