This is an experimental game using experimental roles that I made up. There may be balance issues but overall this is a testing ground for the roles. This is a closed setup game.

"You were all sent to an island for a new reality show, The Mafia, based off of the popular internet game. But you weren't told how real the game was going to be.

When everyone arrived it was already night and everyone went straight to bed. But in the middle of the night, screams were heard. When everyone woke up, the body of the boat's captain was found. You heard over the intercom, 'This is the beginning of show, your jobs are to find out the perpetrators to this crime and lynch them in an orderly fashion. Be warned though, that captain is really dead. Try to not end up like him.'

With that said, everyone agreed to find out who killed the captain."

Rules:

General
1. No direct quoting of anything the mod PMs you.
2. No talking outside the thread unless your role states otherwise.
3. No editing or deleting of posts, think thoughts through before you post.
4. If you are dead don't talk, it's alright if you have "bah" post with no content, but anything else will result in getting a forum mod to delete the post, and a possible ban from future games of mine.
5. If the mod messes something up, promptly inform the mod.

Daytime
6. Daytime will last for a week, use the time wisely.
7. The purpose of day is to attempt to lynch the mafia or other anti-town factions.
8. A player will be lynched when the majority of players vote on him/her, or they have the majority of votes at day's end.
9. Voting is done is done in this format: Vote: Player
10. Unvoting is done is this format: Unvote

Night
11. Night will last 48 hours, use the time wisely.
12. All night actions will be sent at this time to the mod via PM.
13. If the action for night is not sent from a player, they will have no action.
14. The only exception is if the mafia doesn't send a kill, that will be randomized if not sent.

Activity
15. Try to post at least once every 48 hours.
16. If a player has not posted in 48 hours, they may be requested to be prodded.
17. A player has 24 hours to respond to a prod before replacement is seeked.
18. If a player has three prods, the next time they get prodded, they will be replaced.
19. Lack of a replacement will result in slot being modkilled.

Closing
20. Town wins when all threats to town are gone.
21. Any other faction will win when they control half the votes.
22. Overall, have fun with this.

How exactly have I used any sort of "RV+Question" setup? My vote wasn't random, and I haven't asked you a question.

No one else has posted anything suspicious besides akrolsmir, who has abstained from responding since I was right about him and he's a novice.

But again you try to deflect any way you can.

Substitute my name for "a genius" and I'll agree with you. Random votes are up there with "WIFOM" in the top-most echelons of mafia stupidity. You either are mafia claiming to pick a random person, or you're a townsperson purposely contributing nothing to the town. You don't have to wait until day 2 to get information. If you're going to make a vote, don't do it randomly.
