well, i just bought a new pc and i don't have enough money to afford a wacom or xp-pen tablet so i have my G102 prodigy and K120 rubberdome keyboard. Now i could afford for a tablet and mechanical keyboard. What is the best budget friendly keyboard and tablet?
(pls don't keep this alive as it was a dumb question)

This isn't a dumb question at all.

Truthfully if you're just starting out you don't really need good gear now (or even later). I remember starting out on a 10 year old laptop and getting 200k with it with a really cheap combo mouse and keyboard setup. Your current setup is enough for getting good at the game.

If you really want to buy a tablet tho you can consider these:
  1. The Wacom CTL-472 is a pretty popular option
  2. If you want a cheaper option you can consider what I'm using which is the Veikk S640. Its a pretty good tablet and I've been using it for a year now
As for keyboard i don't really have much experience with that as i use a really bad and cheap mechanical keyboard and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone

DIERYA has some good budget keyboards, when I started getting involved in more competitive games they were my first mechanical keyboard and they lasted me some 3-4 years before I upgraded. Never had a problem with switches or anything of the sorts.

RK Royal has some good mid tier keyboards as well, and a few of them sound pretty nice too.

Give some thought before buying a tablet, just because a lot of people use them doesn't mean its necessarily the right choice for you. When I started playing I saw everyone was using tablets so I quickly invested in one, tried it for a few days, and absolutely hated it. I think a good way to tell if a tablet would be a good idea would be to just watch some maps played on auto, holding a pen over paper, and just pretending like its you that's playing. If you think it feels comfortable, then buy a tablet, if you think that sticking to a mouse might be the better choice for you, then I can give a few recommendations.

As far as mice go, I think if you actually want to be the best YOU can be at osu, look at mice with a 1000hz+ polling rate. 125, 250, and (sometimes) 500hz all have issues where if you need to aim fast, you can lose out on a bit of input and 1000hz is where you see the issue become virtually non existent.

DeLUX M800 is a very good mid tier mouse that has a shell that is more or less a perfect copy of the Razer Viper mice. It is wireless too so you wont have a pesky cord dragging across your desk all the time. (don't worry, wireless mice input speeds are practically identical to their wired counterparts now)

If you like Logitech, check out their G305 Lightspeed. Again a very good budget mid tier mouse that is wireless as well.

You could also look at buying higher end second hand parts from local selling services. I'm not sure what services like that are available in Vietnam, but in the US things such as Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Craigslist, and Offerup are where you would typically find things like that, maybe a peek into local alternatives for you could be worth your time and money.

Bro, any. You barely even have 2 hours in game. Just play the game and enjoy it. You don't need a tablet or mechanical keyboard with analog switches and shit.

I see, in Vietnam also have these things too. Mouse is comfort for me as a beginner

Anything that works for you, as long as it does not give you pain while playing, and you can feel comfortable with it. FGSky did a 1071 pp play by using a non-gaming laptop keyboard + a blanket on their lap for the mousepad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZpQkDooNqw&pp=ygUNRkdza3kgaGFuZGNhbQ%3D%3D

Well it depends on what you’re suggesting on buying. If you want a tablet then you should save up for a wacom one.
If you want a mouse then it’s gonna be ok preference. Here’s some tips on what type you preffer: Grip, Size, Weight and Dpi scale ( If you want to switch it up easly from 800-4000+ ) And that’s what I can say.
Do your best in finding a comfortable and Good mouse!

You don't really need any 'gear' when starting out, or even at all (even up until top level play). I use a Logitech G502 with a Wooting 60HE currently, but when i started out I was playing with some random mouse I got for £5 and a laptop keyboard. still made it to 30k with that lol.

I can personally recommend the G502 and G203 as i've used them, and couldnt really recommend brown or black switches (the switch from blacks to hall effect switches was jarring and im still bottoming out my keys, which isnt good for magnetic switches as the rapid trigger is made for you to lightly press them).

As for a tablet, I can personally recommend the CTH-480. I used it for about a year and it was lightning fast with responses.

No need to get into gear for this game though, especially at a low level :) Just enjoy the maps and the improvement will come

For std. and mania, I use a Razer Blackwiddow Elite. For std., however, the mouse I use is a Razer Basilisk V2.

this
you need to learn how to read the game first. doesn't matter if your device has like a 10k hz polling rate and was reversed engineered from alien tech at area 51, if you don't have fundamentals down, it will be a waste of money. all you really need to get started is a mechanical kb of some sort and a mouse with customizable dpi settings.

dropping $$$ on a potential hobby you just started is a pretty bad idea when, one, you aren't all that familiar with that hobby yet, and two, you don't even know if you'll stick with it for an extended period of time. once you get to the point where you genuinely feel limited by your current equipment, that's when you ask for recs
