Hello everybody,

I'm currently using the - @ SaberStrike 『1』 skin and I wish to change the scorebar in a way that gets rid of this sort of frame around the playingfield. For the selection, I wish to cover the blue part that sticks out on the top of the screen (you can see it right under where the songtitle begins).

I have no experience with skins whatsoever nor in editing images, so I'm hoping to get some advice on how to do these changes and what files I need to change. While I did name 2 files since it seems like those are the ones that I'm looking for, they are multiple times in my folder so I don't know which of them to edit.

Even if you can't help me, I still appreciate you reading this <3

Hi ImmeasurableGod!

For that blue thing on the top part, it's because that the word isn't covered completely. Since it uses selection-mode and selection-mode@2x to cover it, you should cover that part that highlighted below:

Through the images selection-mode and selection-mode@2x.

---

As for the scorebar-bg, you need to only remove the selected frame. And yes it requires a bit of editing skills.

For a quick change, you can go to Photopea: https://www.photopea.com/
A simpler step you can do after exporting the image is to use a magic wand tool, select that frame you don't want it to be seen and then delete. Make some adjustment if you wish and finalise it by saving it as scorebar-bg or scorebar-bg@2x - depends on what namefile did you open to change them respectively.

Hello JustABeginner

sry for responding so late, I didn't check the forum cus I thought I would get a notification if someone answered, seems like I was wrong.
I have selection-mode, selection-mode@2x, selection-mode@2xowo and selection-mod@2xowo.pdn.
selection-mode@2xowo looks just like selection-mode and selection-mode@2x while selection-mod@2xowo.pdn just looks like a blank file. Do I also edit selection-mode@2xowo or do I ignore that one?
Also, do I only edit the scorebar-bg and scorebar-bg@2x with the design that I'm using cus I have multiple sets of it.
On top of that, I have 3 files called scorebar-bg@2x of the same design and only 1 scorebar-bg of the same design. Do I change all 3 scorebar-bg@2x files or only 1 of them since I only have 1 scorebar-bg file (all 4 files are using the design that my skin displays ingame).

When naming a skin, you must be specific and correct.
Therefore, selection-mode and/or selection-mode@2x - the rest of them ignore.

@2x is the upscale version, that is twice the size as the normal resolution.
As for the scorebar-bg, edit the ones that is in the current skin folder - including the @2x.

I'm trying to use Photopea for those 2 files, is there a way to make sure that I edit both the same way?

Edit the @2x first, and then use the updated @2x and resize it to half of its original canvas.
For example: 3200x1800 -> 1600x900
