The serious/sad songs in Ouendan and EBA have more subdued, instrumental beats instead of drum beats. Would there be any chance of offering a sound pack with the option to use these?

This is on the short-term features list - as in ~1-2weeks max. There will be a second set of quiet sounds built-in (with a choice between the two in the editor), along with support for custom samples.

Thanks for bumping. I'll keep this in the back of my mind.
The actual sampling process takes the longest for this - I'll have to find/make some nice sounding effects.
On that note... I should probably fix up spinner sounds - they are a bit weak at the moment. Unless you guys like them
