Really, why?
I'm mostly talking about games.
This is something that I have been thinking about quite a bit, why do we pirate?

Free games, too poor, developers earn millions etc. I only pirate games that are next to impossible to find, or those that I decide are not even worth paying for.

I gave up on arguing about piracy a while ago.

I don't pirate. I guess I would, but I don't how to.

I can't imagine how awful that must be, being normal.

I don't pirate because A. I'm too lazy B. I like having hard copies of all my games just because. If I really want to play a game, I can usually buy it. If I can't, I usually get over it fairly quickly. Most of the games I want nowadays are DS games anyways, so... ;P

i usually dl pirated versions to see if the game is any good.
if it is i will consider buying it for online play or something.
if it isnt i usually just play it once or twice and then forget about it

I actually imported that, so the fact that its in Japan isn't exactly an excuse.

Unless you find an english patched version.
