bambi: "i watched him throw a rock at a spider a few days ago. dave was freaking out about it, and bandu being the menace he is decided to chuck a pebble at it, killing it. dave had a sigh of relief after bandu killed it, lol. bandu is a hero for doin' that while i wasn't home, 'cuz spiders make him feel a bit icky too. the only reason i saw it was because ex recorded it, they always record moments of bandu like that."

i think most of your drawings are really sweet and depict their scenes well enough, so... more often than not, if you do make something, it tends to usually be good and i gain some joy from it ^^ but also, if you need to save energy instead, that's probably reasonable too :) i hope you'll be ok with whatever you chooselostsilver wrote:

it's twice as difficult if they're looking at me in return. when that happens, i can't even really look at their face, so i usually read people's expressions from peripheral vision, or i just don't read their faces at all and rely on the words that they speak and the gestures that they make
i tend to zone out in the general direction of specific sections of a person's body-- usually being their hands when they're gesticulating, but sometimes somewhere near their neck or some vague part of the head, sometimes shoulders and arms, often times also the pants or clothes in general. i never remember the details of bodies or faces, and people are always kind of a blur to me unless they're actually there
it's easier to listen and speak if i don't have to process so much, and i prefer it when i have a reliable safe spot to look at that fills out a general "profile" or "silhouette" of the person. looking at people is tiring, and feels invasive, like there's a magnetic repulsion if they're looking directly at me. the moment they glance at my face, i toggle my gaze toward somewhere downwards and off to the side, or somewhere behind that person

weird reoccurring place that happens in dreams
I imagined travelling through a place, a poorer but heavily urbanized area in the philippines
the place however, is very clean and well kept, with an absence of the litter you'd otherwise see abundantly
the sky is a near perfect gradient, colored with blues so vibrant it hurts to look at
devoid of clouds, devoid of stars, without a night to show the stars, only an endless day with a bright aura surrounding the invisible sun
it's very quiet, as if there was nobody here - still, you find that there are inhabitants, with the first you encounter sitting on a chair, appearing to be a very old woman
they warn you about the others, saying that if any human is caught here, that they would be captured and killed
you soon realize that your presence is a crime against this land, and you need to escape quickly
you ask her for directions, but you're quickly interrupted by a loud screeching, someone's already found you
you sit on a bench, and gather yourself, you close your eyes and wait
you wake up

i've had some dreams that have this same feeling of "my existence here is a crime against creation", but they're really not very easy to remember and hold onto. i wonder if it reflects my fears of being an invasive presence, or similarly, being dead weight for people

expunged: "mm... really, what made me so comfortable to just sink into him when i cuddled him growing up was just how considerate, gentle and caring he was to let me open up to him. i vented to him alot, and still do. he's basically my therapist, 'cuz he's been through something similar to what i have. i really appreciate him being there for me when i can't be there for myself, and i'll try my best to be there for him when he can't be <3"
