idk play marathon maps. If a map is giving you too much strain, stop playing that said map.
Not really a bad thing to pause, but shame shall be bestowed upon you

Stop pausing? If you catch yourself pausing, then just unpause it.
Change your pausing keybind to something random, this way you will die once you try to pause and eventually you will stop
