The radio stations are starting to remind us of the boys and girls selling lanterns on the streets. The markets are bring out the ham and cheese. The people are already scrambling to list down the ones they are giving gifts to. Truly, everyone knows that Christmas is coming.
With the introduction of mode-specific mascots in our community, we thought that what would be a better way to feature them than a contest!
Why the theme? It should be obvious if you're Filipino — It's the "ber" months, it's practically Christmas already. If you somehow still have no idea what we're looking for, here's some ideas:
- The mascots are having a gift exchange at a Christmas party.
- Krysta is being pulled away by Primrea from the mic before she starts singing Frank Sinatra's My Way at a family gathering. (By the way, why not check osu! PH Tourney Staff's cover of the song as well?)
- Punica is tirelessly wrapping lumpia for the noche buena dinner, while the other mascots are helping her cook.
- The mascots are hanging a parol at the doorway. (Much cuter if it's Primrea struggling to reach the top of the door.)
- The mascots are having fun roaming around the village singing Christmas carols for some money.
- Krysta and Punica having a debate with which is the better kakanin to eat after Simbang Gabi: Puto bumbong or Bibingka.
- Primrea carefully putting an apple in a Lechong Baboy's mouth, while the other mascots are cheering her on

- By submitting your artwork to this contest, you give osu! Philppines the permission to use it for any promotional material for its activities, not limited to events, promotions, and the like. You will retain all of the rights to your work and you are permitted to sell or distribute it.

- All entries MUST be suitable for viewing by all ages.
- YOUR SUBMISSION MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK. REDRAWING AND COMPOSITE WORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- You can only submit ONE entry. Sounds obvious, but we gotta state it here. You may reupload your entry for adjustments as many times as you want, but once the submission deadline has passed, only your latest submission will be considered.
- Generative art programs or methods (like AI) are not permitted. Everyone will know.
- Participants must keep a full file containing all of their entry's layers available. We'll only ask you for this if we think it's needed to ascertain any claims regarding plagiarism or the use of generative art tools. If you don't/can't provide us this within a timely manner when we ask, we'll have no choice but to pull your listing from the contest.
- Artist attribution (names, social media handles, etc.) must be limited to no more than three lines total and confined to any corner of your entry.
- Entries MUST meet the resolution requirements for social media banners, specifically Facebook's and Discord's. You may check this template as reference.
- The main subjects of your artwork must appear within the Facebook group page banner's dimensions.
- It is recommended that you submit your entries with as high of a resolution that you can provide. This is limited this to a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) size.
- Please refrain from using characters from other intellectual properties, if possible. Official osu! mascots are fair game (since they're osu!'s mascots, duh). If you are using other characters or OCs from other community members, please remember to treat them with respect.
