[resolved] I would like to ask about the accuracy related topic in Osu Mania

Problem details: My accuracy has been around 97.30%, but after I play a few 5-star songs and have around 95% accuracy, my overall accuracy has dropped to 97.13%. Then I play lots of 2-3.5-star songs and have 98+% accuracy, but it doesn't affect any of my accuracy (which still remains at 97.13% without any increase). Why does that happen? Is the accuracy only based on the average accuracy on the hardest (Or highest pp songs...?) you play only?

Essentially, yes. The hit accuracy stat in question is based on a set of plays which can only contain the highest pp play for every beatmap you've played.

In other words, to change the accuracy stat, you need to set plays that will also change your pp total.

Oh... In other words, the accuracy is only based on the average percentage of the top pp songs I played, is this correct? (The other modes like catch also having the same rule?)

Not strictly the top 100 you can see see on your profile, it might be from the top ~1000 plays in terms of pp, but that is the general idea, yes.

I believe this applies to all rulesets.
