Is raw input necessary if mouse accel already disabled?

Problem details: As the title says, I already have mouse acceleration ("Enhance pointer precision") disabled with my sensitivity on Windows set to 6 on the slider. So I was wondering, is it necessary for me to enable raw input in-game since I already am running "raw"? I apologise if this is a naive question! I am using Windows 10.

Mouse Acceleration provides better input, though not 1:1 like with a tablet, but more consistent and stable than with Mouse Acceleration on. The faster the mouse is moved, the further the cursor moves.
Raw Input reads the mouse data directly without any interference from Windows, which is an advantage in most cases.

It’s not necessary, just try it out and see if it feels better for you! :)

I apologise for the late reply (I had some Internet outage). I must not have been clear enough in my original post—I understand how raw input functions; as such, my post was not on the function of raw input. Let me rephrase my question in a simpler format. Considering I have mouse acceleration disabled  due to having "Enhance pointer precision" turned off in Windows' settings, do I need to turn on raw input in Osu?
