The 'Hit lightning' option will show the default lightning, not the skin lightning so it has nothing to do...
It works fine for me, so I don't know what could be causing the problem, sorry >.<

Looks like the new update completely broke the skin- I'm not used to the columns in mania to be on the left side of the screen

Well crap, I'm too busy so I can't fix it.
I've fixed it from what I can tell- here's what should be in the new skin.ini
Might not be exactly the same, but I can't tell the difference, and it's perfectly centered- at least in even keycounts. 7k might be off by half a point, but who really cares?
Edit: ok, yeah, I definitely fucked up one thing looking at screenshots, but it should be an easy fix.
