I'm now developing a simplified version of osu!mania on CASIO calculator (fx-9750/9860 and fx-CG50). Issues and pull requests are welcome from all CASIO users. The app itself is called "fxTap".

To play a beatmap, you need to convert the OSU format to FXT format with the converter.

By the way, I still have some doubts about how to get the number of columns in the beatmap since I can't find them in the file.

I think it reuses the circle size field from osu standard's beatmap format?

BMS noob coming into mania.
I play everything in controller layout except for 4K and sometimes 7K and 9K.
Allegedly cute.

OMG I didn't notice that before, thanks a lot! Not very intuitive though...
