Problem details:

I can't get streamcompanion to show that I am even playing a song. I've tried all the common stuff, made sure its the right directory, made sure its not running in admin, turned off discord presence and more.

Was just wondering if anyone has used it for lazer, I really cant find any more information on it.

ask the streamcompanion devs, this isn't osu!'s thing to deal with.

For lazer we hope to provide a websocket-based means of communications with external tools such as the one you mention, because most existing external tools rely on communication channels that could be described as hacky at best.
