[invalid] Osu!Mania ranked maps don't get said "Score Multi" with usual mods that increase multi.

Problem details:
As you can visibly see in the screenshot below, DT doesn't give increased score multi which means DT isn't equating to the resulting PP earned after PR'ing a map, I DT'd the map "Cthuga" and got a higher score than my previous and didn't earn any PP for it. I restarted my computer, reinstalled osu, and imported all my skins, and even changed skins to see if it was a visual bug for whatever reason. But this seems pretty odd that mods are broken for Mania specifically rn, I'm not too sure for the other game modes.

This is not a bug. As far as I'm aware, in the eyes of the mania community specifically, rate change mods are to be considered "personal preference", and people do not want to see these scores exceeding the 1 million score cap.

There is also the part where mania is the only ruleset in which hit windows do not change after enabling the mod. What I mean by that is that in osu!, activating double time means that your real time window to hit a GREAT decreases by one-third - but in mania, it actually does not change - and mania is the only ruleset that does that.

In lazer we initially disregarded this quirk and gave HT/DT "typical" multipliers, and the mania community complained to us anyway and asked to remove the multipliers again. See: https://github.com/ppy/osu/pull/25958

Is this counterintuitive? Sure. Is it changing? At this point, likely not.

I understand the mods themselves are personal preference, but does HD, DT, and FL just not effect the accumulated PP from a beatmap anymore? Because the community complained? I mean that seems like kinda pointless to have the mods tab there for the mania community in the first place at that point, because I don't think a person "wants" to DT something without gaining something out of it. For fun sure, which is why mods like Random and Co-Op don't effect PP score but are more for fun. The fact of the matter is, I don't even use the Osu!Lazer client, I'm still using the old osu client, and noticed the mod randomly stopped calculating additional PP from a better score. So what's the deal now? Is farming just not a thing anymore in Mania because people complained?



Wait im stupid, I just realized score multi was never a thing, I think I was more perplexed by the fact that I got no PP from a new top play such as that one... which baffled me at first hence why I thought the mods were busted. Whoops. My bad devs.

I did not say anything about pp in my earlier post. Half Time, Double Time, and Hard Rock influence star rating (and thus, by extension, pp), while No Fail and Easy influence just pp.

What you might be running into here is that on stable, for a play to count toward your total pp, it has to be the score with the highest number of points scored. So if you got a play that is technically worth more pp but less score, it will not be counted. (This is changed in lazer.)
