- Administration takes into account previous tournament presence, tournament performance, and player knowledge when selecting captains. - Each captain shall be given 90 seconds to pick a single player during the draft phase, taking turns in numerical order.
- Each captain will also be given three 60 second extensions to their pick timer, and these can be used voluntarily or be automatically applied if their current pick timer runs out.
- If a captain runs out of extensions to their pick timer, the highest BWS rank player will be chosen instead. - If a captain is unable to attend the draft, they may select a proxy that is NOT playing in the tournament to draft for them.
- Division I:

Qualifier Procedures
- After the 8 or 16 teams in a division are drafted, they will play a qualifier round to achieve accurate seeding.
- Each team will run through the Qualifiers pool one time in consecutive order.
- ie. NM1 → NM2 → NM3 and so-on - The difficulty of the mappool will be similar or the same as Semifinals for all Divisions.
- Qualifier Results will be seeded according to average sum of placements.
- Following the Qualifiers, teams will then move onto a double-elimination bracket stage utilizing power seeding (#1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, etc. or #1 vs #16, #2 vs #15, etc.).
Bracket Stage Procedures
- Bracket Stage will start from Quarterfinals for Division I and Round of 16 for Division II & III.
- All divisions will follow a traditional Double Elimination Bracket.
- All teams will start in the winner’s bracket following Qualifiers.
- For the first 2 rounds of the tournament, each team will play one match per weekend.
- In the remaining rounds of the tournament, teams in the loser’s bracket will play two matches per weekend. Teams in the winner’s bracket will continue to play only one match per weekend.
- All players are expected to treat staff and other participants with a high level of respect. Any mistreatment or abuse in match, through Discord, or other social media platforms (this includes, but is not limited to: harassment, extreme toxicity, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) WILL NOT be tolerated. Sufficient punishment will be given accordingly.
- Tournament hosts and admins reserve the right to deny your registration if you have had extenuating misdemeanors in other tournaments.
- Forfeiting out of the tournament after being drafted because “you didn’t want to play anymore" or for any other non-emergency reason, may result in a tournament report being filed by the hosts and/or admins. Players who register are agreeing to be potentially picked as captain or as a player.
- For any situations where there are no existing rules, tournament hosts and admins have explicit discretion to apply their judgement on issues as they see fit.
- A referee will create a lobby and invite the captains. Captains are responsible for inviting their team into the lobby.
- Teams are expected to show up to matches on time.
- If a team fails to join the match 5 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will lose their roll and their ban(s).
- If a team fails to join the match 10 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will forfeit.
- It is a player's responsibility to come prepared for the match. If a team continually stalls the match, the referee may use their judgment to either strictly enforce timers or reduce timer durations.
- There are no warmups.
- No double bans with the exception of NM and FM, no restrictions on picks
- NF will be enforced on all maps.
- Captains will roll for picks and bans. The winner of the roll may choose pick order or ban order. The loser will choose the remaining order. Ban order is ABAB.
- Throughout bracket stage, teams will have 2 bans.
- Teams will have 2 minutes for bans, should they fail to choose one within that time, they will lose their ban.
- Teams will have 2 minutes for picks, should they fail to choose one within that time, the pick will be rolled by the referee.
- Once a map is picked, teams will have 2 minutes to swap teammates and ready up. Once the timer is finished, the referee will force start the map.
- FreeMod picks allow HD, HR, EZ (score multiplier is map dependent; ie. custom multipliers), and FL.
- Teams are required to take at least 2 players with mods: one must be HD only or EZHD while another must be HR only or HDHR. Beyond that, there is free reign over mod combinations in order to meet the minimum requirement of 3 mods total.
- Example mod combinations are shown below
- HD + HDHR + NM + NM is allowed
- EZHD + HR + NM + NM is allowed
- HD + HR + HD/HR/EZ/FL + NM is allowed
- EZHD + HDHR + NM + NM is allowed
- EZ + HDHR + NM + NM is NOT allowed
- HD/HR + EZFL + NM + NM is NOT allowed
- HR + HDHR + NM + NM is NOT allowed
- EZHD + HD + NM + NM is NOT allowed
- Tiebreakers are played with Freemod enabled, however, do not require players to use a mod.
- In the event of a disconnection, an abort/replay may be called if it occurred within the first 30 seconds of the map. Other than that, common sense will be applied. If proof exists of the disconnected player's score (or a rough estimate of their hypothetical score if they finished the map), it will be used. If it is at all ambiguous, that player’s score shall be considered zero. Each team is granted one replay per match.
- Teams are given one timeout of 2 minutes per match. Both teams and the referee must be in agreement about extending a timeout or having another timeout.
- Disconnections are considered to be unexpected, game-breaking events out of a player’s control (i.e. keyboard/tablet/mouse malfunction, system failure, internet disconnect, etc). Offset, background dim, etc. ARE NOT considered valid reasons to call for an abort/replay as players may fix these on their own time.
