Actually, someone running a small and fast enough buzz slider for long enough should give you more combo per second than literally anything else on Std. Catch just needs a line of fruits at the center of the map that never moves. I'm not sure about Taiko or Mania, though. Mania might be cheese-able depending on how it counts multiple held notes, but it likely would be that or something like constantly pressing and releasing all notes as fast as you possibly can.
