GCC = Game Conqueror Community. Pretty simple name, but the history of what a "Game Conqueror" is extends way back ever since I was 5 years old.
Oh and don't bother finding it over the internet; you won't find it.

Actually the most famous store in terms of school supplies here is a franchise named "National Book Store". There are a lot of branches across the entire country. I'm just not in range of the bigger branches lately; I'm pretty sure there are, I'm just not looking for them yet

Yeah I've already wasted a good lot of my eraser. I've mainly found out that practicing overlapping really requires me to erase stuff since I'll be drawing the inner stuff then just erase them as I draw the outer ones

And, if you don't have access to one, maybe I can suggest going to Jetpens.com. They have a good selection of stationary materials (I'm a huge fan of writing utensils. IDK why, but I drool whenever I go to that site, while other people just say: "They're just pens. What's your problem?"). Then again, looking at the shipping costs and timeframe, it's going to be more economical and practical to just buy from NBS.
There's also the option of getting a tablet, but again, it might not be the most economical option.

I tend to use it for both actually, but whatevs. You're doing a great job so far (also yep, mechanical pencils for the win)

Standard harnesses in my school... well. I mostly use 2B with a regular pencil.
They tend to survive around 2 years orz

I have an excellent sharpener that sharpens my pencils to a perfectly symmetrical and fine point, so that's probably why I can draw thinner lines than a mechanical pencil.

A friend of mine suggested 4B lead. How efficient will this be?
What do you mean by efficient? Hardness determines how dark or light the resulting line that you draw would be.
4B is a pretty soft lead, which means you would be drawing darker lines with it. You also wouldn't need to exert as much pressure in creating dark lines from it compared to, let's say, HB.

Personally 4B is a bit too much for me- if you sketch stuff with that it'll leave smudges far more easily than a harder pencil. The most I use is 2B, with HB and 2H for light shading.

Giving the character I made a bit more detail with the much expanded space. As you may have heard I used a mechanical pencil here and I felt how awesome it was.
For the lower-left pic I tried to make him sit down and... obviously it failed. Don't quite understand yet how the displacement of the angle works. I also made him a tad bit too tall and his vest kind of too short. I have no idea how to make him look like he's sitting down at all. His vest is also twisted, which is the most obvious fail in this one.
Lower-right. Failure even more. I was trying to do folded arms a bit too hard here, I guess. I also have no idea how to make the scarf look like it's actually wrapped around him, touching his body entirely. I was using a regular pencil here now btw (...Faber Castell No.2).
Guess there's nothing else so...

Left: I thought she'd be simple... until I got to the ribbons part, which made me lose my cool. I still don't know how proper facial expressions work either. Too tall and a lot of inconsistencies with the dress and there's just something incredibly wrong with the west and east side of the dress.
Right: I failed so hard here, no one would realize who this is. Lack of colors isn't helping either. Plus we've never seen him look like this yet. Missed an accessory, everything being too wide... it's horrible in general D: I have no idea how to do this oTL
Lower left: I was about to draw TCC before I had to be busy. Lol.

Drew only the unnamed child this time. Trying to be as comfortable with him as much as possible.
Slowly and slowly trying out side views.
Also, it's pretty obvious which ones here are regular pencil'd and which are mech'd. HB Lead is INCREDIBLY LIGHT though, doesn't my sister have a 2B or something...

This makes me a very happy person. But I'm a little upset that the MMBN book has very noticeable damage on the edges. You'd think they'd be more careful in packing these things. >_>

Alright guys! Watched the Ustream today all the way and got a few important details! (though not all obviously since I don't understand JP 90% of the time)
This post will be filled with a lot of screenshots since that's basically the thing we'll understand the most.
Now for the first screenshot.
Oh and by the way, before I forget, Taiko Sound Team member Yuji Matsubuchi (sp?) also comes in alongside 178 and Etou, accompanying them for the rest of the show.
This is Etou's final screen result for his 5 song medley:

Now while Etou was playing, the designers came on to mess around with the stream. They were doodling stuff everywhere REALLY FAST and I couldn't get screenshots of all of them!
There were a lot of inside jokes (or probably JP-only jokes; I don't understand them that's for sure oTL) and stuff happening while Etou is playing the 8 song medley.

I was trying out some stuff and ended up failing the pic that was supposed to be in the upper right.
Upper-left: Hyper Saitama Force. I'm sorry, I Just had to do it. Lol.
Down: It's supposed to be Tenyou using Hailstorm but I kind of sucked out and failed a lot of the details here.
I don't like this page in general <_< I still wanted to do Ryougen with some Magneto pose though.
Now for the next one
Kind of obvious why I thought of suddenly switching to something like this.
I kind of liked the outcome of these so... yeah.
Upper-left: 'I hate circles' exhibit A. Her head looks horribad. Aside from that, everything looks OK in my eyes. I think.
Upper-right: I tried drawing the unnamed kid in his original pose with the same concept...
Bottom: it was just now I realized how similar their faces are, for some reason.
