[resolved] Can't update osu!. "an error occured while updating, check connection"

Problem details:
problem starts when i want to login to bancho, but i cant because the osu version is too old.

so i update it using the 'update osu!' ingame feature.
but then i got error " an error occured! PLEASE check your internet connection ".

i tried reinstalling by using the osu installer but got the same error.

Things i've do:
a.) Restarting the laptop
b.) using vpn
c.) change network dns to google & cloudflare
d.) copy/move osu! files ( exe, db files, ) to another folder

osu! version: Stable 20240123

Please post your update.log from your osu/Logs folder (the default location is C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\osu!)

Try making sure your OS is up to date with any pending updates first.

then try repairing your .net framework.

ok problem solved. it looks like my windows os is the problem, just now I updated it and then tried to update the osu! again, and it works.
