Does lubing my switches affect my gameplay?

Recently, I lubed my MX silver switches. I feel like I got worst in speed, stamina, and acc afterward.Does anyone know will lubing my switches affect my speed, stamina, and acc?

i recommend lubing your tablet and pen tip, too, it's a big difference!

if it changes how the button works, it can affect things related to you tapping it. lubing should make it easier to press? maybe you missclick easier?

most likely you overlubed them and got mushy feeling which affects finger feedback

I didn't think I overlubed them, but I did receive less feedback after it, maybe cause it is already a linear switch.

6 days late but it shouldn't affect it.

if anything it should feel smoother and easier since there is theoretically less friction because of the lube.

ur probably just overthinking it and have a bad day

I just recently lubed my L45 switches and i could say that it basically killed my speed i was trying to understand what was wrong with me whole time it was the lube so i cleaned of the lube and slightly applied it afterwards and now everythings fine
