I've been using full alt as my tapping technique for a while now, and I want to know if learning how to stream with this playstyle properly is practical. I've seen many discussions about how hard it is to stream with full alt. I'm unsure of what to do, and I want to avoid changing playstyles if possible.

I would greatly appreciate some tips for the long run in learning streaming, specifically for this playstyle. And for the hopeful goal of streaming 200bpm(?) in the future.

I exclusively full alt and I don't feel like it holds me back as far as finger control, it's probably one of my stronger skillsets.

full alt player here
if you feel that some skillset is bottlenecking you just practice it, its probably not because of your playstyle

for me full alt makes finger control easier as it teaches how to start tapping patterns with both fingers
started playing full alt right after i stopped tapping with my mouse lol

it can be helpful to also learn singletap, be all tapper

it is practical

Alt player here. For speed, In my opinion it's the matter of pushing your limit assuming you also can sustain longer streaming on lower bpm as well. You try both passing faster stream maps as well as getting higher acc on those

I used to full alt and I think it limited my skills in terms of speed. After all, it halves the bpm of the map you are playing. It doesn't actually improve your speed.

I would recommend switching to singletap if I were you if that is your problem

I exclusively full alt and i’m also pretty good at streams. In order to learn streams I just really focused on technique on lower bpm and tapping lightly then my speed and stamina naturally improved.

bonus tip: try breaking up streams into groups of 4 circles at a time, and try to anticipate how it feels to hit the stream

BRO THIS ONE TIP WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE: BE STUPID

Just kidding, but it's true in some sense. About this:
I've seen many discussions about how hard it is to stream with full alt.
Have you checked if they're migrators from singletapping? If yes, then theres not any more thing to be discussed.

If you have been alting for so long and you feel comfy, then just be dumb and don't think so much. You'll get those streams in time period. The biggest concern is you having the thought 'WHAT IF my fingers don't alternate'. Trust me, it's the biggest issue. Be stupid, tap with your heart. If that makes sense :)

*edit
Oh right one more thing.. Alting should be done lightly, panicking or being tense will limit your alting abilities. Have confidence and you will succeed. ENJOYING THE TRACK IS NUMBAH WANNNN BEBYYY
