Welcome to Zenyr’s Esoteric Speed Tournament International-draft Nevermore Yearning 2 (the 2nd iteration of “Zenyr’s Esoteric Speed Tournament Invitational-draft No Yokespai”). This is a 4v4 teams of 8, open-rank, sv2 acc win-condition, highly speed and skillcap focused international draft tournament. With a focus on speed and stamina, it also tests other speed related skillsets such as high AR speed aim and gimmicky low ar finger control. Unlike other tournaments, slotting will be done by 3 categories, Stamina, Speed, and Finger Control, instead of mods. Mods will be DT and NM with every map being HD optional (no bonus.) You can expect a couple slots, such as FC1 or SPD3 to not be quite what you expect according to the literal slot name, as these will be more aim focused in their respective areas, but every slot will have a skillset description on the sheet.

  1. 4v4, teams of 8 osu!standard international draft tournament, Open-rank.
  2. The tournament will be played in Scorev2.
  3. Win condition is based on highest average team accuracy.
  4. The tournament follows a double-elimination format, starting with RO16 up to GF.
  5. Grand Finals will have a bracket reset if the player coming from the loser's bracket wins the first match.
  6. NoFail is a requirement on all maps, and Hidden is optional on all maps.
  7. Captains will roll at the beginning of the match and the roll winner decides to pick or ban first; the loser chooses the remaining option. Ban order for matches with 2 bans per team is ABAB.
  8. Double-picking and double-banning is allowed, no restriction on what you pick or ban. Banned maps are effectively removed from the mappool for that match and cannot be picked by either team.
  9. Each player has 90 seconds to pick/ban a map. After a player picks a map, both players have 60 seconds to ready up.
  10. In the case of tiebreakers, another roll will be done and the winning roll will decide if they want to ban or pick. After the ban, the other team will choose one of the two remaining maps.
  11. Warm-ups are allowed if both team captains and referee agree.
  12. In the case of a disconnection, common sense will be applied: if proof exists of the disconnected player's score (or a rough estimate of their hypothetical score if they finished the map), that score will be used as their final score; if it is at all ambiguous, the other player will get the point; if the disconnection occurred in the first few seconds, the map will be replayed. If a situation occurs where a player or multiple players disconnect midway through the map, the map can be replayed if both teams consent.
  13. In the case that a team does not have at least 4 players in the lobby 15 minutes after the match is scheduled to start, that team will be forced to forfeit the match.
  14. Each team gets 1 90 second timeout to use at any time, any more timeouts or extensions can be done with the consent of both teams.
  15. Be respectful to your referee and to your opponents (mild joking banter is okay). Exceedingly disrespectful and inappropriate conduct in lobbies and in the Discord server may result in you and your team's removal from the tournament.
  16. In the case where there is not a written rule for a certain issue, common sense will be used along with feedback from all players in the lobby.

  1. Captains will be determined among the people who opted into being considered at registration, and handpicked after careful consideration of qualifier results and other known factors of the player, as well as the results of everyone to make teams as balanced as possible. You are allowed to pass the captain role to another player after the draft, just make sure to notify staff, @zenyr or @raikohxd on discord.
  2. The draft will be done in a snake-draft format, with the lowest seed captain getting the first and final pick. The draft will be livestreamed.
  3. You must be in the discord to participate in the Qualifiers and be eligible for draft. Captains must remain in the server throughout the duration of the tournament.
  4. Qualifiers are not required but highly recommended to increase your drafting chances and make the drafting teams as fair as possible. Schedules are below. However, you are still eligible to be drafted if you choose to not play qualifiers.
  5. The Qualifiers will be different from other pools in that in order to determine the best fits for captains, there will be varying skillcaps tested. (Seeing how a player would fare on lower vs higher stages.)
  6. Qualifiers implies a full run-through of the mappool in order. You can skip any map but it will be counted as a 0 for the qualifier results. Re-plays are allowed in valid cases, and you must quit the lobby for that map and notify the referee of the occurrence (except in cases such as mouse/tablet/keyboard disconnection where you may not be able to leave.) The player(s) will then re-play the map at the end of the lobby.
