Felt nibs

Anyone tried playing with felt pen nibs, or any other types of nibs that aren't the standard plastic ones?

I've had issues with my tablet surface feeling inconsistent, and I prefer more friction over less friction, so I was wondering if felt nibs could help with these. However, before I click "add to cart" I just wanted to see if anyone else has tried other types of nibs before. In the past I did buy a tablet cover thinking it would help somewhat with this issues, and honestly if anything it made them worse (my tablet looks fire though)

Edit: Found this cool guide:

Also the cheapest wacom ones I could find were 40AUD, should I just buy 3rd party ones

The felt nibs are alright but a lot of them have a weird coating that makes them feel plasticy in a bad way, and it wears off unevenly. The ones without the coating have to be replaced really often. I'd go with the flex nibs, they feel basically the same as a good felt nib and if you mind the speed difference, it's easier to solve than the friction problems (You could just take off tablet cover, use smaller area, etc.) Wacom doesn't sell them right now afaik but you can get them from other sites. They might be knockoff but the feel is the same.

you don't need nibs, you can mod a thing on the tip of the pen to drag with that's just like you wnt
