I could open up a simple forum for Taiko, though it won't be anything very fancy since I'm freaking busy for this week and the next with university work....It'll be on Invisionfree if everyone agrees (best I could think of, unless you have any other ideas). There will be threads for discussion, links to here and Taiko Time, and of course, a huge post(s) for beatmap downloads which all designated mods can edit at will.
Also, no one has given me any feedback yet on the sister blog's name yet for the Taiko fan-arts and stories and whatnot.

If you only want a webspace for a forum or a wordpress blog, I guess I could help. If you got a domain, even better. (or you'll need to stick with taiko.nmforce.net or something like that, or a free domain name like taiko.tk).

This has been a good learning experience for me. If not for this, I'd never even think of tinkering with Premiere.

June 15, 2011 : EPIC FAIL, I got something like, DISK READ ERROR. then I managed to re-install
June 25 : EPIC FAIL because a file looked corrupted, a SYSTEM file
then now I get this. I managed to find a way to rearm 11 x (which is 330 more days) but nope, I will try to get rid

@anongos: Maybe his power is reduced for the third go onwards? Namco has a habit of nerfing bosses if they're giving you too much trouble, like reducing max HP of bosses in Wii2/DS3

It becomes 900 and 750 respectively, from the original 999 and 800. All proceeding fights however has his power staying at 999 and 800.

I immediately saw the max and min power difference since I was pretty mad at myself for not clearing it after 2 tries, so I paused at the Battle Initiate screen and I saw 900-750 instead of 999-800. Of course it's now back to 999-800 for me, and being familiar with the CoR chart makes it very easy for me now... I still can't beat him on boss rush however :/ (I just tried again. Failed again)

2.) How many bombs do you actually step on? For some reason in the go-go time, even though I'm pretty sure I FC the entire sequence I hit bombs instead of notes for some freaking reason. Like d*bomb*k ends up with my k being registered as hitting the bomb and not the k :/

2. I normally stop pressing anything if I don't see clear enough. Better to miss some notes than to hit bomb notes.
At the end of the battle, I would usually have around 80-140 left.

If you're not sure (or can't see clearly), its much better to just miss than to hit bomb notes. You lose MUCH less people that way. But if you're completely adamant about getting an FC on it, then I can't help much.
EDIT: In that video, you can still see, though not very much. In Armagedon, you get points that block off the entire bar, so I don't think its wise to treat it the same way as the Arumi battle.

In Armagedon, you get points that block off the entire bar,After much playing, nope, I haven't had a case where the entire scrollbar is blocked now. Playing osu!Taiko using the Hidden mod is a good practice, if it's any hint; the right most part of the scroll is blocked seldomly
I've grown accustomed to switching my vision from middle, left, and right quickly now so... IDK, I'm just pretty sure I can read the entire chart now even if the rocks are blocking. Actually I'll try FCing Gigadon on DS2 first (almost have it down, but I stopped playing DS2 after I got the Wii games lol)

I was thinking about possible card system of Arcade Taiko no Tatsujin, and more importantly, availability of that card system and new AC Taiko in Korea. Namco's upcoming Tekken Tag Tornament 2 will adapt 'Bana Passport' card system, which is already used in some other card-using namco games. Fortunatly Koreans love Tekken and Namco know it. Actually Namco already sold some limited edition of Bana Passport card once in Korea, so I guess card system itself isn't that much problem.
But availability of card and availability of service aren't always same. Currently no Taiko AC14 is available in Korea, and even 13 is somewhat rare. I don't know exact reason, but lots of players here thing it's due to economic problem. When AC11 was released Yen was quite cheap so lots of owners of arcade center decided to upgrade their machine, but it seems current economic situation isn't that good for buying new and expensive software from Japan directly. (Though they might know that there will be new Taiko arcade build... But I don't think possibility is that high.) New AC Taiko has quite high possiblity of requiring new arcade build, and the price of that thing is... *sigh*. If there's not many new machines + new version of Taiko soft available in Korea, Namco might not launch online Taiko no Tatsujin service here, and that might lead no more new AC Taiko in Korea... lol.
Since new arcade build won't work if there's no connection, on-line features would be quite important in new AC Taiko. Unfortunatly, if that's true, We might not be able to see new Taiko no Tatsujin anymore in Korean arcade center, unless lots of owners of arcade center decide to buy new AC Taiko. Namco will make international version of some card-using games, I guess we Koreans can expect that.... (You know, they made two Asian ver. before. But I'm not so sure they will make modified one of Taiko no Tatsujin for oversees market...)

I can see how online is important for the new build, but I don't remember seeing anywhere that its required for the machine to work. My guess is that without online, you guys miss out on scoreboards and updates (possibly new songs as well if those come with the updates). In the very least you would still have the arcade machine, and that's better than what I can say over here.lepidopodus wrote:

I won't say I know everything about the new online-enabled Taiko machine, but one thing's for sure, it's going to have a massive starting songlist consisting of a lot of new songs, and the networking is definitely being used to download new songs into the arcade, as well as new costumes and probably scoreboards (a bit redundant seeing as the best of the best players will clog up the first, I dunno, 5000 spots and refuse to leave), but the arcade will definitely have basic function without online. The rest of the stuff, like what costumes you're entitled to use, your own personal high scores, are recorded in the Bana Passport. That's probably about as good of a card system as you're gonna get.

alternative solution include SMF, however I can't set it up to repel these spammers = =.
For Free Domains, I scouted the web for a bit and found several still usable (some very new) domains.
co.cc is always the best, but I used up my own domain name quota.
