No but seriously, what the hell is this sorcery? All the way from 2017 up to last month, I only played osu! in a 60hz laptop, and even managed to get to finish a "8 star" map (which was a previously 7 star map), but I ALWAYS felt awful doing streams, because it did always hurt my hand and no matter how fast I tapped, it always didn't seem enough. Anyways, last month I finally got a 144hz laptop with the money of my first job, and HOLY SHIT. It unironically felt like I was back to my prime days, where I could beat 7 star maps with my 60hz laptop like a breeze. Streams feel SO MUCH MORE smooth and easy. How the hell does this work, in a logical/technical way? I only need to improve my long lost aim and stamina, since I wasn't playing much these last months due to discouragement (mainly because the game felt so much harder back when I still had the 60hz laptop), but whatever... How does this hertz change work, anyways?
