I would say, that you shouldn't play the same song too many times if you are practicing, ofc its alright if you try to achieve something on the song, but otherwise on my end, I have noticed that I get worse at that song the more I play it, its always good with some variety.

You can't improve overnight magically. It doesn't work like that. I would say take breaks eventually to avoid burn out. Other than that all I can say is play more.
Yeah I think everyone knows that they can't become the next mrekk overnight. But still good advice for players who need a reality check.
