Problem details: my osu! had an error after I did something with the compatibility mode. it just won't start now, saying I might be missing graphic drivers. I'm scared because after I restarted the pc yesterday my scroll and Krita started lagging a lot too
I work with Windows 7 x64 by the way, it's a bit old

osu! version: Stable 20240123 (latest)

Go to your osu folder and click repair osu! then there you can disable compatibility mode or mess with any other settings if the game cant start

also make sure your drivers dont need any updates.

- reinstall graphic drivers. thats the best you can do. it works well as long as you download the driver from a official source etc. Intel or AMD.

for AMD devices:
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-131 - auto-detect and install tool for AMD-powered devices. after uninstalling drivers download this and it will take care of it for you

for Intel devices:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html - intel driver and support assistant. i know barely anything about intel processors- i have an AMD RYZEN 3 - but this seems like this should work.
