[resolved] Global rank went up massively after Lazer PP update

Problem details: I used to be rank ~320,000 globally, and I was also active in Lazer. On the day it got the "PP update", my global rank became ~275,000. peppy himself said that previous scores set on Lazer will not count. My PP didn't increase either (I think). So why did my rank increase so much so suddenly?

Lazer uses a different bonus PP engine. This is not "hacking" or anything. It simply calculates your bonus PP (usually) higher than what it was on stable. Youll notice that if you submit a score on stable it will go back down, because it is using a different algorithm/engine.

yes that is your lazer rank. stable will move to match it soon(ish)
