[Archived] About osu(lazer) score calculation

Recently, the maximum score of osu(lazer) is now the same as osu(standard) by an update,
However, I am still losing scores to people who are less accurate than I am.
This is happening more and more.
Why does this happen with osu(lazer)?
I don't think the spin scores alone make this much difference,
What is the calculation?

I don't know much about the standard scoring system but my guess is that all the older plays aren't converted to the current lazer scoring system. I wouldn't worry too much about it as they're supposedly going to be erased later.

It's just lazer scores played with old scoring versions that for some reason weren't converted to the current scoring formula. As mayoneeze said they will be erased anyway

The past versions of osu(lazer) calculated scores differently, so that's what's left.
I forgot about that, sorry.
