now I'm trying to make my friend start osu! but when he's trying to download a map or skin the app always tries to update itself and not download the skin or map is there a way to fix this

thx for the help and the funny thing is it seems like there's two osu! in his pc and if he opens the skins with the first ones it bugs but the second one works just fineDeath wrote:
Sounds like the default app set to open beatmaps and skins is not pointing to the correct location.
Right click on the beatmap/skin file after it's been downloaded, select "Open With", and then choose osu! from the list of installed programs. There should also be a checkbox available that allows you to set a new default which you can enable too.
