[Archived] Beatmap transfer/duplication

Problem details:
I want to make a beatmap. But the background in the music is much clearer in the instrumental version, so I want to map on that. But I want the final version to be on the proper song, to have the vocals as well (the not instrumental version)
Is it possible to transfer what I mapped to that version of the song?
TLDR; map on instrumental, finish/tune on vocal version

You can replace the mp3 file in the map to get this done.

In the editor, click "File > Open Song Folder"
In that folder, you will find the mp3 of your map, by default it's audio.mp3.
Simply replace that audio file with the one you want to use in the end, just make sure it is named like the one you had before, else the map won't work properly.


Doing this could result in problems with the songs timing (the different audio files likely use different offset values)
