my osu goes offline...... alot. I'd just like some suggestions. is it a virus or something?

It goes offline sometimes when my internet's down for no apparent reason. Most of the time, my internet is connected, but on osu, it says "loading stats" or "You must first log in to view the online rankings" My Local scores still work, and they still replay, my score goes to the loacl scoreboards too. But when it does come online (2 days later) my scores dont appear there. Basically I can't do anything, if i get a really high score, it doesn't count. Even my avatar doesn't appear. Or my account itself. Its username is there, but all else isn't.
So, Your scores can be uploaded only, when You are online - when You achieve score offline it won't be uploaded later. But Your connection problem...hmmm...i'm not an expert here. Maybe it's some kind of firewall or something, i don't know.
As far as i know Local plays do not go Global when regaining connection and you say 'when my internet's down for no apparent reason.' If your inet drops it's obvious osu! will as well, for the rest i have no clue why it would stay offline when you have inet connection, maybe others know a solution.ZOMGNOTHING wrote:

But it isn't osu causing the problems. I don't know if it's my internet. So please help me with this.
-Reboot router
-Reboot modem
-Check cables
-Run any other diagnostics
-Contact ISP
It wouldn't be a virus. I can't imagine someone making a virus that just tickles your net connection every now and again.

well, it hasn't happened lately, so I don't think i need to worry about it for now.
