I play on a gaming laptop and my game has been stuttering like crazy ever since July last year.
I've tried the following to remedy the issue:
In-game:
- Switched between Optimal/Unlimited
- Enabled/Disabled Reduce Dropped Frames
- Changed to a lightweight skin
- Tried changing from Stable to Cutting Edge and vice versa.
Outside the game:
- Set my laptop to High Performance and switched osu from integrated and dedicated and vice versa
- Set osu.exe priority to High and back to Normal in task manager
- Updated windows & graphics drivers to the latest
- osu and discord are the only things running.
- cleaned the internals for dust and stuff
- Scanned the computer using Malwarebytes
Also, I play with Wifi using my phone's mobile data.
Using devocub tablet drivers, it's set at 3ms 250hz, anti-chatter at 5 strength

also happens with every other map.
Laptop Specs:
ASUS TUF FX505DY
Ryzen 5 3550H (2.1Ghz)
Radeon Vega 8
RX 560X 4GB
16GB RAM (8x2)
128GB NVME SSD (Osu and OS is in here)
1TB HDD
I'd also like to add that my laptop has no battery and I unplug and plug it back whenever I'm done using it.
I might have missed other things that I did since I did a bunch of things from youtube videos
Really would appreciate if anyone can pinpoint other things what would cause this and a possible fix since it's honestly frustrating getting misses that aren't my fault.
