I don't know if these particular patterns have proper names, but are there any tips on how to improve at JS maps with lots of transitions between splitrolls, jumptrills and sometimes 3-notes chords? Very common in DJ Sharpnel/Icyworld style JS maps.

These patterns screw up my reading and my fingers sort of lose control, ending up either chain missing or hitting consecutive 200/100s. Can't even hit them properly at around 175 bpm, but for regular JS (more stair-like) I can do well at 200bpm on a good day.

Honestly the only way to improve at JS is just to play it more.

There are different types that you could practice such as generic, light, and broken. Those are the 3 I know.
Try searching for maps with those specific words and see what comes up.

I can also give maps if you want (though I would have to spam maps in your dms because it is much quicker to do in-game).

And if you're struggling on a map that you really want to improve in, try lowering the rate with osu!trainer

Thanks for the advice! Still can't play trill patterns up to speed but please let me know if you have a list of recommended mapsets.

Play ALOT of different maps! Not only jumpstreams but single streams gonna help you too with light js.
