Osu! Grid

Uhh, this is my first time publishing here (and I don't even know if I'm doing this correctly), but I just want to know, I'm mapping osu! for the first time (I normally map osu!mania) and I wanted to know if there was a way to make the grid go across the screen instead of just the square in the middle.

nah, but you can press g to make the grid bigger and smaller

"bigger and smaller" actually meaning "denser and sparser" in this case

If you want to place objects across the screen, then no need the grid. Objects don't necessarily go across the grid. But better not put objects out of the square, because if you are using a wide screen, what you see in the screen will probably be out of the screen for those using narrow screens.

The grid has a form of square because that's the playfield, users have various resolutions so that square is converted to all resolutions so the objects cn be played
