osu! standard is a bit weird with the rankings.Bad with acc wrote:
So I tried this new map and i got an C. But I had 85 acc. Usually with my skin it says that 80-89.99% is an B. So did osu get it wrong or did I mess something up? (It was a nomod)
And the next try with 86.61 I got a b. So is the game wrong about the C?
I think it’s my rank (1.6m)
But you probably had more 50's or misses on your first try, leading it to a C rank performance.
In mania it is more simple, you only need specific acc to get a rank, doesn't matter how much 50's or misses.
osu standard does not use accuracy for rankings, it based on the ratio of 300's to others

std should just follow with mania's grading system and give the grade based on acc achieved. It's much more easy that way and there'll be less people complaining about it.
