I think that 4 to 5 is the biggest in the game. Even though I'm well beyond the skill level required to fc most 5* effortlessly, I still enjoy them because they feature a much more diverse set of patterns than 4* and are where you really start seeing proper jumps and streams.kaedori wrote:

To answer the main question, the fact that notelock was ever added is very perplexing. "It was in the original game" isn't a good excuse, I can't imagine that any playtesting was done before it was added, either. Experiencing notelock even once is enough to tell that it is an unenjoyable and frankly a stupid addition to the game.
