How to fix my accuracy and my timing

Problem details:
I play lot more visually than with sounds so I end up hititng my notes a lot more earlier than I should do, and I'm not entirely sure what is the best tablet size for me to use. Have had this issue since I played a lot of Hard Rock (not anymore) as well as playing DT (currently), however I have been playing a lot more nomod for the last couple of months and have seen NO improvement whatsoever. I can do streams somewhat consistently but I can't do microjumps or jumps for the life of me. I also tend to go faster on things like sliders and jumping between two differnt sets of notes.

I understand the idea of "Just play more" but the thing is - I have been playing/attempting to fix my nomod skills for SEVERAL months and there just isn't any good improvement.

I play 1920 x 1080 with a tablet area of 65 x 50

Normally you should know that osu is a rhythm game right? So you should also know that your tapping must obviously be in rhythm with the music. The fact that you can read circles to click on them is a good thing, but you must not forget that the rhythm of the music you play is just as important. Don't try to play maps that are rhythmically too complicated for you. If you have the feeling that you tap too early or too late, you can always try to fix your universal offset or change the local beatmap offset.

For the jumps, I can advise you not to try to play maps with too big gaps between jumps because it can disrupt your sense of rhythm. First you start with maps you can SS (who are not too easy of course), then you go up the stairs and you try to challenge yourself on maps not necessarily with jumps, but just pure rhythm.

You can also try to play longer maps because it will help you to be more consistent. You play too many maps that are too short and this is usually due to DT. Make sure that you don't play for your combo anymore, but more for your accuracy. Try to play with NM if necessary, because you need to familiarize yourself with the music first.

One thing that helped me focus more on hearing the music was HD.
I am more of a visual player and I think I adapted that through mania, but after some HD runs on different maps, I found it much easier to play maps with NM and saw improvement in my accuracy afterwards, using both my visual and auditory sense.
If you are willing to try HD, don't focus on the combo that you have.

If you want to make HD easier, play on an AR level that you are most comfortable on. It still works just fine.

Yeah I think playing with HD should help you with your visual problem. Maybe it could throw off your visual reading off balance and put more emphasis on your hearing and the song's rhythm. And if you're having a hard time doing a particular skill, then it's best to go back down in a comfortable difficulty and work your way back up again, no matter how big you might have to go down.

one thing that used to helped me is: play low star maps (1-2*), and try to slow yourself down to the song's beat

yeah the ar is low af but that's why this works so well (at least for me) cuz you're forcing yourself to get rid of the whack-a-mole playstyle to get good score on these maps
