[resolved] can't verify identity/log in ingame.

Problem details:
i installed osu on this new laptop and tried to log in ingame and a little notice came up in the bottom right saying i had to confirm my identity and said to click it, i know it's supposed to prompt something but when i click the notice nothing happens? i've tried deleting the game and redownloading as well as logging out of both the website and the game and trying to sign back in, but nothing has worked. i can log into the website just fine, it's just this ingame. please help

Clicking on that message should open a tab in your browser. If it's not doing that, close osu!, change your default browser to something else in Windows' settings, then reopen osu! and try again.

You can change your browser back to what you were using before afterwards.
