[Archived] Is there any way to resolve the alt tab issue without turning off compatibility mode?

I have done a google search about this issue, but the only solution I came across was turning off compatibility mode. While doing that does resolve the issue, it also causes some fps loss and higher input latency (the ms thing from "Show FPS" option increased). Is there a method to fix this without causing lag?

The alt-tab issue is pretty much defined as needing to alt-tab a lot of times to finally get into the osu! screen versus not having compatibility mode off and it working off of just 1 alt-tab for most circumstances. If i am wrong then please let me know.

To the best of my knowledge there is no way of fixing the alt-tab issue without turning off compatibility mode.

However, I'd like to implore as to if you need compatibility mode on anyways, you should follow the Performance help wiki and see if anything in there helps.
